Kimchi in Glendale
Wed., Nov. 9, 2022, 6:15 pm-8:30 pm
We will make cabbage kimchi, Korea’s national dish! We will use Wisconsin grown cabbage. When Napa cabbage is in season in November and December, it is time for Kimjang, Koreans’ annual process of making kimchi to last through the winter. Korean families and neighbors make kimchi together. Each pair has their own station. This kimchi has shellfish, but fish sauce can be used instead. Rice is provided. Please notify the instructor at email@example.com about allergies and dietary restrictions.
Private cooking classes
I'm available for private cooking classes! I can bring the ingredients to you. I can teach students how to make a typical Korean weeknight meal. We could make bibimbap, or Korean rice bowl. We could make kimchi stew, soft tofu stew, spicy beef stew, soybean paste stew or other classic Korean stews. A private cooking class is more intimate. I have more time to talk about Korean culture!
